29 Things I’ve Learned in 29 Years

  1. Gratitude is my religion- everyday is thanks giving.

  2. Worship the teachings, not the teacher.

  3. Our bodies are designed to heal.

  4. Anything is possible, when you have the support you need and are in an environment conducive to your goal.

  5. Never stop learning.

  6. Truth is simple.

  7. It is essential to attune to your intuition. Intuition is everything.

  8. Sobriety, or undistorted reality, is intense AND so much better than living in the fog of being a regular alcohol/weed user.

  9. My body is my temple. My body is my vessel that allows my soul to move, work, and play in this world.

  10. Our beliefs create our reality. Change your beliefs, change your reality, change your life.

  11. Change is the only constant. Let life move you.

  12. Befriend the unknown, learn to let go and allow the mysteries of life to take you. We don’t always need to know why, how, where, when, what. Surrender.

  13. Mystery without Trust is misery. Trust that you are exactly where you’re meant to be. Always.

  14. There is nothing wrong with you. Even if you’re sick, in pain, or caught in addiction- this is your soul’s unique journey and purpose.

  15. We have so much more power than we think we do. Speak it out loud, “I call all of my power back to me.”

  16. We are choosing all of this. Every single thing in your life is there because you chose it. If you want change, choose something different.

  17. Take responsibility for your life and your self. Real responsibility- learn how your body works, how to heal, how to eat, move, breathe, create, play, learn, LIVE in a way that works for you.

  18. Do not blindly give your power away to anyone- doctors, lawyers, financial advisors, lovers, friends, or family. There are people in the world that are just waiting to take your power and “become your savior.” There are also people in the world that will see your tendency to hand over your power and will politely remind you that that belongs to YOU.

  19. Self care isn’t drinking wine and binge watching netflix or going to get a mani/pedi. Real self care is eating whole foods, getting sober, moving your body, soothing your nervous system, exploring your internal realms, meditating, having healthy relationships.

  20. Self care is community care. If you want to have a positive impact on the world and those around you- start with yourself.

  21. Stop being so mean to yourself. Create awareness around your negative thoughts/self talk. Try to replace a negative thought with a positive thought. Spend time focusing on what you’re good at and what you like about yourself.

  22. If you are dealing with low self worth or confidence, you need to do something you’re good at and do it a lot. We are all inherently worthy. I’m not sure that we’re all inherently confident, for some of us building confidence takes practice.

  23. Spend as much time as you can outside.

  24. Be honest. Stop lying, especially to yourself.

  25. Don’t place labels on yourself or try to put yourself in a box. Allow yourself to be exactly who you are and love yourself for it. I can be a deeply spiritual person and still enjoy keeping up with the Kardashians!

  26. Try not to take this all too seriously. We need more joy, play, and magic in our lives.

  27. We’re not meant to be alone. Prioritize your relationships with your loved ones and create community whenever and however you can.

  28. Move at your own pace. Time may not be what we all think it is. ꩜

  29. LIVE YOUR FREAKING LIFE! CHASE YOUR FREAKING DREAMS! If you don’t love your life and you aren’t actively moving towards love, then what the heck are you doing?!?!?!?!?
